On March 6, 2025, the Lady Justice Initiative collaborated with Impact Finance Pro to host a career transitions event “Pathways with Purpose: Impact Finance Careers.” The workshop attracted participants worldwide– many of whom are navigating recent job loss and exploring purpose-driven career opportunities.
The event provided attendees with valuable insights into the rapidly expanding $1.5 trillion impact finance industry, which has grown exponentially in recent years. Participants learned about diverse career opportunities across institutional asset managers, development finance institutions, foundations, family offices, and ecosystem support organizations.
The workshop explored several essential topics for career transition, including understanding the investment spectrum from traditional finance-first to impact-first approaches, navigating the diverse landscape of funders and ecosystem support organizations, and the “tripod” of quantitative skills, regional expertise, and sectoral knowledge needed to stand out in the field. Attendees also received practical guidance on quantifying impact in their professional materials and creating targeted networking strategies to connect with key organizations in the space.
Lady Justice Initiative continues its commitment to supporting individuals who have experienced recent job loss and are seeking purpose-driven careers. This workshop represents one of several upcoming career transition opportunities designed to connect participants with purpose-driven employment pathways.
