•Build community and expand networks among peers and local leaders driving AI and legal innovation

Karen Chukwu. Katwig and Dale. Karen is an IT and Intellectual Property Lawyer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Karen has built her career working with various leading law firms, Senior Advocates, consulting practices, and Federal Courts in Nigeria. Karen sits on the boards of several technology companies and communities across Nigeria and the United States. She holds an LLB from the University of Hertfordshire, a Master’s degree in IT and IP Law from the University of East Anglia, an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Global Business Certification from Harvard Business School Online.

 

 

 

 

 

Rita Oruche. Rita is Managing Partner, Bridgegold Legal. She is also the Founder of Legally Yes, a Pan African lawyers’ community. Its flagship events in Ghana and Nigeria, have fostered connections, sparked career opportunities, and built knowledge through training. Rita specializes in AI law and works to drive innovation at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. She holds degrees in law from Nigerian Law School and Nnamdi Azikiwe University and certificates from the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan and the University of California. Rita is a Lex 2X Exec Global Ambassador.

 

 

 

 

 

Barbara Lawrence. Barbara is an ICF-Professional Certified Executive Coach Specializing in Leadership Development. She brings over 30 years’ experience, including 20+ years with Shell Petroleum, where she served as the Change, Organizational Excellence and Development Manager for Shell Africa. Her expertise spans Executive, Leadership, and Team Coaching, as well as Organization Effectiveness and Development consultancy. Barbara is a member of the Lex 2X Exec™ Global Executive Coaching Corps.
