Mentoring for Women Building the Future of Law
Our global study on women in legal tech, legal innovation, and digital transformation, in 31 countries revealed that 67% of women reported lacking mentor support.
Gaps in support are especially pervasive in countries where digital transformation and AI in the legal sector are more nascent. Lack of mentorship affects women’s career paths, professional development, and success and amplifies challenges they face as entrepreneurs and in addressing the social impact goals many aspire to affect.
The Lex 2X Exec™ mentoring program responds to these findings. It is supported by women leading AI transformation in law as founders and CEO's of legal tech companies, AI governance leaders, and legal innovation leaders worldwide.
Lex 2X Exec™Members can access:
- Personalized 1 to 1 mentoring where they are matched with an experienced leader to gain first-had perspectives on their professional development or career goals or to jump start their entrepreneurial journey.
- Peer advisory group mentoring facilitated by an executive coach or industry expert. Women are matched with small groups of peers where they can learn from each other and gain support and networks.

How it Works:
- Mentor-Mentee Matching. Mentoring pairings are based on member/mentee overall goals and objectives for collaboration with a Mentors are selected for pairing based on their professional profiles and preferences shared via the mentor onboarding. Lady Justice Initiative will: 1) identify 1-2 potential mentors for each mentee; 2) confirm each mentor’s willingness to work with the mentee. Mentor and mentee will have the opportunity to speak with each other to confirm fit and a desire to work together before the pairing is finalized.
- Global Access. The program is global. Mentor and mentee pairings may include professionals located in the same country or another.
- Duration and Format. Mentor and mentee work together for 6 months on a mentorship platform customized for the Lex 2X Exec™ community.
