Despite the moment's promise, as women legal leaders—whether legal tech CEOs, mid-career lawyers, or business professionals pursuing their next leadership opportunity—know, the path to capturing these opportunities is complex and often filled with barriers and challenges.

These challenges are amplified by the velocity and nature of AI transformation and misalignment between the demands of this context and support offered by traditional institutions.  Traditional strategies for leadership development and professional growth such as executive education, generic leadership programs, and professional conferences are no longer enough. They simply do not meet the moment.

City Circles for women in law convene women with peers in their local communities to build AI fluency, networks, and access business and leadership opportunities.  We launched this initiative in late 2025. In 2026, we are bringing Circles to more cities worldwide.

Harnessing AI for Justice

AI is bringing historic opportunity to catalyze justice through the new capabilities it brings as well as to reimagine longstanding systems and institutions for a new era. Already it is:

  • Helping to close capacity and resource gaps limiting access to and effectiveness of justice solutions and providers.
  • Enabling collection and analysis of data at unprecedented scale and deployment of data-based solutions. 
  • Enabling prediction and real time monitoring of the efficacy of service delivery and solutions.
  • Providing an opportunity to integrate justice by design in the building of new systems, institutions, solutions, and products for the AI era of law
  • Creating an opportunity for inclusive, collaborative, and participatory solution making among those who have traditionally lacked access to these opportunities and collaboration at scale.

Our work to maximize the potential of AI for justice focuses on facilitating peer learning, and sharing of expertise and is advanced through our Justice Hive hub.
