Adeline Chin, Asia

Adelin has spent over a decade working at the intersection of law and technology, helping to shape the future of the legal profession through innovation and collaboration. She co-founded three legal-related ventures, including Chambers Lab, a legal innovation consulting firm that spearheaded the launch of Asia’s first barristers’ chambers – Nusa Chambers; and LawTech Malaysia, an initiative that introduced Malaysia’s first lawtech hackathon and the SUPERNOVA series to explore the intersection of legal, financial, and regulatory technologies. A graduate of the University of London and an MBA holder from Sydney Business School, Adeline draws on her diverse professional background to bring practical, tech-driven solutions to the legal field.

Adeline serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA) and is a member of the Tech Expert Committee of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). She is passionate about fostering collaboration in the legaltech space and encouraging greater participation of women in technology and innovation.

Recognized as one of the ’30 Legal Tech Innovators in Asia-Pacific to follow in 2023′ by Asia Law Portal, Adeline has authored publications and frequently speaks at regional and international events. Her work focuses on designing accessible and impactful tools that make legal services more effective and inclusive.

In addition to her professional achievements, Adeline has received the Distinguished Young Alumni Award 2021 from the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council, a testament to her commitment to excellence and mentorship.
